FINAL REGISTRATION DAY TO BE HELD!!!!

January 29, 2016 – 05:00 PM

The WBA will hold a limited Registration on January 29, 2016 from 5pm to 8pm in the indoor batting cage at the WBA Complex.  Certain leagues will be accepting a limited number of spots based on need and then a waiting list will be enforced until we have enough players to field additonal teams.  Please read the following carefully:

T-Ball - NO CAP

Pinto - 9 registrations will be accepted then wait list

Mustang - 3 registrations will be accepted then wait list

Bronco - 8 registration will be accepted then wait list

Pony - 1 registration will be accepted then wait list

Softball is on a waiting list for 8U, 10U, 12U and 15u

 

Registration for the 2016 Spring Season Announced:

The WBA will be holding registraion for the upcoming 2016 Spring Season for all Girls Softball ages and all Boys Baseball age groups (inclduding T-Ball).

 

THERE WILL BE NO ONLINE REGISTRATION OFFERED

 

Registration cost for the 2016 season will be $75 per player with a $150 max per family

 

 

Frist time registrants require government issued Proof of Age (Birth Certificate) The age of your child on April 30, 2016 determines the league for baseball and the age of your child on January 1st, 2016 for Softball.

Friday Night Softball is Back

 

 

The WBA will be offering free hitting, fielding and throwing instruction to all current WBA members.  Each participate will get both group and individual instruction on basic softball skills and live hitting in the cage.

 

Classes will be held every Friday evening from January 15, 2016 till February 12, 2016 with 8U and 10U class from 6 pm to 7:15 and 12U and 15U from 7:15 till 8:30 pm.   

 

Class sizes will be limited, so please call and reserve your spot ASAP.  Please contact Rob Hawthorne at 304-670-2470. 

 

If because of the weather a class is cancelled, it will be posted on the Weirton Baseball website by 5 pm on the day of the class.

INDOOR CAGE AVAILABLE FOR RENT

The WBA will be making the indoor cage availble for rent on Saturdays to WBA members only.  Cost will be $30 per hour.  We will only rent the cage if we are able to fill a minimum of 2 consecutive hours each Saturday.  For more information or to reseve the cage please contact Rod Rosnick @ 304-224-8953.

Classes will be held every Sunday from January 17, 2016 till February 14, 2016 with Bronco and Pony age class from 11:30 am to 1 pm. Mustang and  Pinto from 1 pm to 2:30pm.

They will donate 1% of you grocerey purchases to non profit organizations that qualify for the assistance.....and guess who qualifies?!?!

Kroger Community Rewards Program (Please take time to re-register your card)

Dear WBA Members,

We have received notice from Kroger that it is time to re-enroll your Kroger card in the program so the WBA can continue to receive contributions from Kroger.  This past year was our best year for member participation (37 cards enrolled) and the money recieved from Kroger has been used for many upgrades to the facility.  Our goal this year is to get to 100 cards enrolled.  With over 400 kids playing at the WBA this year we feel 100 enrollments is more than attainable but.....we need everyones help to reach that goal.  We ask that everyone that receives this email take 5 minutes of your time and either re-enroll your card or if you haven't particpated yet please do so now.  We appreciate everyones participation thus far.  It all goes to a great cause, improving our facilities for the benefit of our kids.

Hello Kroger Community Rewards Contacts, It’s time to re-enroll for the new year of Kroger Community Rewards. Please let your participants know that they need to re-enroll in the month of April in order to continue contributing to your organization through the May 1st 2015 to April 30th 2016 year. For a member to re-enroll their card they simply go to www.krogercommunityrewards.com • Click “sign-in” • Put in their email address and password that they used to enroll their card. • Put in the group number or part of the name of the organization. • Choose the correct organization. • Click Enroll. You are now enrolled for the May 1st 2015 to April 30th 2016 year of Kroger Community Rewards. If you are having an issue with your password and or email address please 1-800-KROGERS, press 5 for customer service, press 5 to speak to a customer service representative. If it’s the first time they are registering, the member will need to set up their account first. • For a member to enroll their card the simply go to www.krogercommunityrewards.com • Click “create an account” • Put in their email address and password. Confirm their password • Enter plus card OR alt ID number • Go to Community Rewards (near bottom) • Follow through the steps. (Name, address, etc.) • Put in the group number or part of the name of the organization. • Choose the correct organization. • Click Enroll.
