Also, as a league, we are looking to host, for the first time,
FALL BALL which would start after the long weekend in September. Depending on interest and field availability, it may just be a fun, scrimmage league intermixed with mini-clinics in hitting, catching, fielding and general skill development. Stay tuned for more information on that!  Convenors will likely contact all families in mid-August to assess interest in FALL BALL.
And don't forget about other off-season clinics in pitching, hitting, catching, general skill development and umpiring. Information regarding these clinics will be posted here. Check back often.
Thanks for a great season!!

Rain Out/Game Cancellation Procedures

Home Team coaches are responsible for making a decision on cancellation of their game due to weather/field conditions. Ideally, do everything in your power to not cancel games since it is usually unlikely for rescheduled games because of getting umpires on weekends and other playing nights. However, IF you have to cancel a game, you are required to make the decision no later than 5:00 p.m. on Game Day:
  • Notify the visiting coach so that he/she can contact players prior to travelling to the game.
  • Notify the UIC that is responsible for cancelling your umpire. For Wpg South West home games, you can contact Rob Crouteau via cell at 771-8510. For St. James home games, please contact your UIC Ken Wasuita.
  • Log the game "result" through the online game results/score reporting tool.
