Fall Championship 2012 “Nomad Dominate and win by Mercy Rule”

It started off with a lot of hype Nomads dominated threw playoffs to get to this game. Silverbacks had to fight their way to the Championship with crazy overtime and close games.  So the game gets going Nomads get the ball and drive the field to score and take the lead in this championship game! They go for the extra point and don’t make it. Score is 6-0 Silverbacks get the ball Grady take his team like he did all season long and drives down to the Nomads 10yrd line. Now with 4^th down looming Grady scrambles out the pocket to his right and fires a pass low to the front of the endzone  as the defender and receiver fight for that pass the call was incomplete! Leaving the score 6-0. Nomads get the ball back and on the second pass of that drive Jim throws a strike down the right side which is caught and is taged at the Silverbacks 10yrd line. Giving the Nomads a chance to score. Jim drops back and throws a strike and yes they scored! They go for the 2 point conversion but do not make it leaving the score 12-0.

Now Grady gets his guys together and start to flow getting excited and fired up! Grady throws 1-throws 2-throws passes 3 passes and just like that are at the Nomads 10yrd line the momentum had swung the silverbacks way. Grady shakes the rusher and throws a bullet to lindsy in the back of the  endzone! They go for the 1 point conversion and make it! Now its on! Grady is pumping his chest and the rest of the team as well! The sidelines are intense the game is back to a game. The Silverbacks kick the ball off and run down to make the tag with force. But as the momentum swing has swung Jim does what Jim has done all season long throws  a post down the middle of the field to Jon Jon for the score and just like that Jim takes the Nomads down the field and take back the momentum! They get the extra point  making 19-7 with less then 2 minutes to play. Grady gets in doing what he does throws strike after strike and with time running out in the half and with less than 7 seconds he throws a pass low another play that was called incomplete and short of the endzone. Leaving the score 19-7 and yelling and screaming over 2 blown calls what a half!

So the second half starts Silverbacks get the ball and drive the field and get close but we all know the Nomad team is tuff and on the next play they showed why as they pick Grady off making it a touchback. Jim drives the field holding the ball to last possiable sec. They turn the ball over on downs but pin the Silverbacks. Grady gets going drives close to the first down and on third down the Nomads go offside and Grady throws a bomb down the field but at the last min was broken up,but the call is offside on the defence and giving the backs a free play and a first down. The first down is taken,so Grady drops back and throws a pass which hits off his guys hands or broken up and get picked and goes all the way for the score but wait its called back cause a block in the back but Nomads retain possession now with 10 minutes left in the game Jim works the field but fall a little short of the first down with the clock ticking Jim does what nobody thought he would do he goes DEEP! Throwing into double coverage and then out of nowhere “DRAGO”  out  jumps both defenders with a micheal Jordon type dunk! I wish I had that catch on camera cause that broke the Silverbacks sad to say! DRAGO made the biggest catch in his life I know its his biggest catch here in BENSALEM. WHAT A FUCKING CATCH! They go the extra point making the score 26-7 with the clock still running. Silverbacks get the ball back but not paying attention to time drive the field when they get close to the endzone  the whistle blows? Wondering whats going on the Reffs  say GAME OVER! GAME OVER? Yes GAME OVER NOMADS win 26-7 3 scores at 5 minutes  means MERCY RULE making the Nomads  Champions of the fall Season.
