Welcome to Whitfield Baseball Association!  We are a volunteer, non-profit organization that works to provide opportunities for the youth of Pitt County to play the great game of baseball.  It is our objective to provide a positive environment where every child can learn the fundamentals of baseball.  Our organization provides opportunities to the following age groups.  The T-ball league is for ages 4 - 6 year olds but may include some beginning 7 year olds.  Our 8 and under or coach pitch league includes advanced 6 year olds to age 8.  Our 10u league is for ages 10 and under.  The 12u is for ages 12 and under.  League age is based on the player's age on April 30th.  Whitfield Baseball Association is a Tar Heel Leagues, Inc. franchise that participates in the Tar River Conference.  Our season begins with an evaluation of new players in each age division (except T-ball leagues)  in February.  Teams may begin practice the week of March 1st and league games start the first or second week of April.  The season ends the second or third week in June and All Stars are complete by the end of July leaving plenty of time for a summer vacation.  One thing that we consider unique to our association is that each players' parents are voting members of our association giving you the opportunity to become directly involved in your child's baseball future.  We have monthly meetings where the board of directors, along with the members present at the meeting, decide on pertinent issues of our association. The Whitfield baseball program is open to all of Pitt County.  If you are looking for a better experience for your child, please give us a try!  You will be glad you did.  You can also find us at https://www.facebook.com/whitfieldbaseball
