Angela was not originally expected to be an active player on the DRS roster. Having only started working at the agency in 2005, she showed up at games in the early part of the 2006 season as a spectator to support fellow new hires Scott Gelineau, Chrystal Urbani, and Scott Jambard as the young trio took the field as DRS rookies.

But in a mid-season game against CPTV, the taxmen were severely short staffed, and Angela willingly volunteered to step in and be the team’s catcher. The game served as Angela’s lone appearance on the field for DRS – that is, unless the one-hit wonder decides to play for a second time during the upcoming 2007 season.
