Patty was never an official member of the DRS roster. However, there were a few instances when she came to a game as a spectator and ended up taking part in the action on the field.

In a 1996 intra-agency game between Team inDRStructible and the Market Street Maulers of the Audit Division, Patty stepped in to be the taxmen’s starting pitcher when Lisa Coco was running late. Patty would pitch two innings and drive in a run in her only at bat.

Two seasons later, Patty again took to the hill, filling in and pitching a complete game in an exciting 32-28 win over AAA at Wolcott School in West Hartford. The hotly contested game featured 14-run rallies by each team and saw lead changes nearly every half-inning. Patty went 2 for 5 and scored 3 runs.

Patty retired from the agency during the summer of 2003.
