Coach Silk is the hitting and outfield coach for the Raptors.
He has been coaching high school or college baseball over 38 years the last 12 seasons at MC. The Raptors are consistently at the top for batting average in the NJCAA. The Raptors have had 3 players win the Marucci Elite Hitter Award, quite an honor.
The picture depicted with Ozzie Smith is from 2007 at the ABCA coaches convention when Rawlings Sports began awarding Gold Gloves in all levels of baseball. The Raptors have had 8 Gold Glove winners. Who better to kick off the award than one of the greatest fielders ever to put on a Major League uniform!
