Greg Steeber

Junior High Head Coach/ Bunting Game Coordinator

Greg is no stranger to the people of the Belle Vernon Area School District since he has served as the districts Technology Coordinator since 2002. Greg is a graduate of Indiana University and California University of Pennsylvania. In college, Greg played football at IUP under legendary coach Frank Cignetti.

He was a four-sport star at BVA (Baseball, Football and Basketball and Track. He played on Coach Hix’s 1988 playoff team at BVA, starting in center field and was the team’s leadoff hitter. He was first team all-section in 1988.

Greg previously coached baseball, basketball and football at Belle Vernon Area. Besides being BVA’s Freshmen Head Coach, he will work with our outfielders and coordinate the teaching of our bunting game during our winter program.

Greg also serves as the head coach our very successful Middle School football team.

Greg resides in Fayette City with his wife Melanie, daughter Lindsay and sons Tyler and Tanner, all BVA students and athletes.
