Myesha Daggs

Myesha played basketball and volleyball for four years at Fulton High School. She started all four years. During Myesha's senior year, her coaches named an award after her. The award is called: The Myesha Daggs Leadership Award. Only one other player has received it so far. On the volleyball court, she received 3 all-district awards and 1 all tournament award.
Myesha has been involved in youth sports since her graduation from high school. Myesha was the assistant volleyball and basketball coach, as well as the head JV volleyball and JV basketball coach at Fulton High School from 2008 - 2010. During this time, her teams:
- broke the school record for the number of games won
- secured two district tourney championships
- won the district regular season champions
- were region runner ups
- appeared in sub-state
Her JV team (2010-11) went undefeated for the first time in the school's history.
Myesha is currently the assistant volleyball coach and head JV coach at Central High School. Myesha graduated in May 2012 from UT with a Bachelors in Modified and Comprehensive Special Education and is a teacher at Norris Middle School. Myesha is currently the head coach at Lake City Middle School.
Myesha believes that hard work, fundamentals, positive attitudes, and teamwork will help her players improve on and off the court and prepare them to be role models and leaders in their community.
