My name is Erika Nwajei. I was born and raised in Paterson, NJ. I am a single mother of a true student Athlete. I have been with the Nifty Organization since 2011. I started out by volunteering as a Team Mom for the Cheerleaders and in 2012 filled in as a Coach for Flag and 9U. During that year, I became a Board Member as a Secretary for the Executive Board. My position on the Board was changed in 2014 and I became the Vice President. In 2015, I became President and the Coach for all Cheerleader levels (6-14 years old). I am currently an Executive Director, Cheer Coach for all levels and Team Mom for Girls Basketball since 2017. My beautiful student athlete daughter has been a volunteer since she was 5 and that has been since 2012. I strongly believe that our children are what it will take to change the course of our city.
