Nick Chichilitti enters his 2nd season as the Archbishop Ryan Head Baseball Coach. Nick currently owns & operates Stampone Umpire Service, which is the largest baseball assigning service in the tri-state area. SUS assigns all the premiere semi-pro baseball in the area, such as the Perkiomen Valley Twilight League & West Chester League. Chichilitti was a 2011 National HOF Inductee into the Men’s Senior Baseball League as a Player/Manager & League President.

In Chichilitti’s 1st season, he led the Raiders to an 8-4 record which was good enough for a 3-Way Tie for 2nd Place in the PCL. The underdog Raiders went on to beat Carroll in the Q-Finals before losing to eventual PCL Champion Neumann-Goretti 4-0 in the Semi-Finals. For his efforts, Chichilitti was named 2017 PCL Coach of the year.

Prior to this season, Nick was the Head Baseball Coach at North Catholic for two seasons, where he led the Falcons to two straight playoff appearances in 2008 & 2009. Nick was named PCL Red Division Coach of the year in 2009 after leading a young Falcon team to a semi-final appearance. Nick was the head man for Archbishop Ryan’s JV & Freshman teams from 1995-1997. Most of his players went on to win the PCL Title in 1998 under the direction of Head Coach Mike Lake. Chichilitti was the 1st Assistant at his alma mater, Philadelphia University nee Philadelphia Textile during the 2005 season.

Nick also has managed several semi-pro teams , most notably, the Plymouth Pirates. In 2007 the Pirates won a National Championship in Clearwater, Fla. as well as winning the PVTL semi-pro title in 2008. In 4 seasons, Plymouth either won the regular season title or the playoff championship. Nick also was the player/manager for the Jenkintown franchise of the Pen-Del semi-pro League, winning a title in 1996. In his 7 seasons managing semi-pro teams, Nick’s teams won 5 regular season titles and reached the Finals 5 times winning it all twice. Chichilitti played Pen-Del Semi-Pro Baseball from 1985-1996 with Loma, Somerton, & Jenkintown. Nick finished his playing career with Warrington of the Bux-Mont Men’s Adult League from 1997-2008 winning 6 titles along the way.

At Philadelphia Textile, Nick was the Short Stop for the Rams, highlighted by a berth in the Division II Regional Playoffs in 1987. The Rams were the 1st team in school history to make the post-season, winning a school record 27 games as well as finishing the season with a #26 final ranking. Chichilitti also won a Philadelphia Catholic League Title with his Ryan Raiders in 1984.

Chichilitti currently resides in the Andorra section of the City with his wife Daneen. Nick has two daughter’s Nicole (25) & Danielle (23).
