A native of Indiana, Coach Maurice Harding relocated to Dallas, TX from Indianapolis, IN in October of 2015. In 2007, Coach Harding began his career in coaching at his Alma Matter, Ball State University, where he coached in a self-founded residence hall sport club called the West Side East Side Basketball Association. He developed a passion for coaching and began coaching several Boys & Girls Club teams leading to his self-founded AAU Program called Boys & Girls Club Elite; later BGC Elite (Balling, Grinding, Competing Elite). Harding coached his AAU team from 2012 to 2015. His team won a championship in the winter of 2014, among numerous seasons where the program finished as league runner-ups. He was hired at the International School of Indiana in June of 2013 where he coached as an assistant coach for two years until he relocated to Dallas. He was promoted to Assistant Varsity Head Boys Basketball coach in his final season at the school. In Dallas, Harding has coached AAU for the Bison Basketball program before recently joining the staff of Dallas Lutheran School as the Head Junior Varsity Boys basketball Coach /Assistant Varsity Coach for the 2016-2017 season. Coach Harding plans to return to the staff at Dallas Lutheran this coming fall.
