Neal Green

JV-A Assistant Coach

"Dr. Green played collegiate baseball as a middle infielder (second base and shortstop) for the West Liberty State College Hilltoppers in West Liberty, West Virginia, during the early 1990s. Under the mentorship of 30-year coaching veteran Bo McConnaughy, he competed in NCAA Division II as part of the Ohio Valley Conference. After his time there, West Liberty State College transitioned to West Liberty University and is now a member of the Mountain East Conference.

Professionally, Dr. Green holds a Ph.D. in Education and serves as an Associate Professor and Director of Online Operations at National Louis University in Chicago, Illinois. He was honored as Professor of the Year in both the 2015 and 2021-2022 academic years. His current research interests include online teaching and learning, along with his ongoing work in artificial intelligence in education and innovative teaching strategies based on both andragogical and pedagogical principles. Throughout his career, Dr. Green has been dedicated to reducing student barriers to higher education and developing individualized pathways to success."
