Grant East

Head Coach

Grant East has been coaching water polo for six years now and has coached swimming for ten. He first started his coaching career at North County Aquatics, then went to Paso Robles Swim Team, then Paso Aquatic Club, and now is the Head Water Polo Coach for Paso Robles Aquatics. He has coached at Paso Robles High School for three years and has run a summer water polo program at Kennedy Club Fitness for six years. Grant was also a Bearcat and graduated in 2008. He was a member of the PRHS water polo, swim, and dive teams between 2004 and 2008, where he earned the role of captain of the swim team his senior year. Grant participated at the CIF championships in all three of his aquatic sports achieving multiple top ten finishes at CIF finals during his high school career. He went on to swim for California Lutheran University where at one point he held seven school records, breaking records ten times overall as captain of the CLU swim team. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from CLU in addition to being part of student government and other extra curricular activities. When he isn’t at the pool, Grant is surfing and hiking around the central coast and sometimes foreign countries! You can also find him occasionally in the classroom as a substitute for the Paso Robles School District.
