Kegan Lanter is a 2014 graduate of Thomas Worthington High School. He was fortunate enough to be a 3-year starter under Ohio Hall of Fame Coach Stephen Gussler. During this time the Cardinals won back-to-back Conference and District championships. Kegan was a 2x All-OCC Catcher and as a senior was the Team MVP, 1st team All-OCC, 1st-team All-District, 1st-team All-Metro and 2nd-team All-State. He caught primarily and also played OF.

Kegan played collegiately at Otterbein University for 1 year, then transferred to The Ohio State University. Here he joined the Club Baseball team, hit over .300 and helped the Buckeyes win a Conference Championship in 2016. He also appeared in 3 games on the mound with a 3.54 ERA. Kegan graduated from The Ohio State University in 2019 with a Bachelors in Economics and is currently ending his Masters of Teaching program at Muskingum University.

Kegan resides in Worthington with his wife Kelly and dog Coba. He is entering his 4th year with Worthington Kilbourne Baseball."
