Subscribe to our NewsletterThe 14/16U Co-Ed Soccer Division 5 is designed to reinforce core soccer fundamentals while introducing more advanced concepts of team strategy and collaboration. Players continue developing individual skills, but with a growing emphasis on cohesive team play, tactical awareness, and shared responsibility on the field. They learn the value of passing, positioning, and supporting teammates, while being encouraged to communicate clearly and confidently during gameplay. This stage helps athletes transition from foundational learning to more dynamic, team-oriented soccer.
Season Details
-Schedule: Saturday mornings at 12:45 AM
-Dates: September 6 through October 25, playoffs may run until early November
-Location: Gilman-Waite Field, 10 Michaels Lane, Baldwinville, MA 01436
Each Session Includes
-10 minutes of warm-up
-Two 30 minute halves of game play
Opening Day Highlights
- Uniform shirt handout
- First official game of the season
Game Format & Equipment
-Team size: 6 players on the field plus a goalie (7:7 format)
-Ball Size: 5
-Required gear: Water bottle, shin guards, sports socks and soccer cleats or sneakers
-Note: Football and softball cleats are not permitted
-No jewelry allowed during play
Modified Rules for Development
-The game clock runs continuously
-Play stops immediately when the goalie gains control of the ball
Registration & Recognition
-Cost: $65 per player
-Includes: Numbered uniform shirt
-Season Finale: Players compete in the playoffs for a championship medal.
