Players ages 7-8 years (determined by player's age on April 30, 2017). Players participate in games but with an emphasis on instruction in fundamental skills and basic rules. Scores are kept during games, but for instructional purposes only. No records or standings are maintained by the league. Coaches pitch to players during games. Players are given equal opportunity to play both infield and outfield positions. Teams will typically play two (2) games per week with additional practices scheduled by team managers. All players are invited to attend the Malden Youth Baseball AA Field Day following the conclusion of the season.
