Press Rules and General Rules.
************8u Sub-Novice &9u Gymrat************
--28.5 womans ball is to be used.
--There is no pressing to the Last 2 minutes of the game. All Players must stay behind the 3 point line extended All game til the last 2 minutes of the game.
--The last 2 minutes of the game the clock stops on every whistle. During this period clock does not stop after a made basket. At any time. Unless the referee blows his whistle clock continues.
--The last 2 minutes of the game both teams can press subject to the 10 point rule. If a team is winning by 10 points or more that team has to stay behind the 3 point line extended. If the score is within 5 or less points then both trams can press.
--First Violation will be a warning. 2nd Violation is Technical and so on. This will be at the discretion of the referee.
These technicals do not count towards a coach be ejected.
--There are no 3 pointers in Gym rat and Sub-Novice.
--Also when a player is shooting a foul shot they are allowed to shoot at the 1st Hash Mark past the foul line. Going over the imaginary line from side to side is at the discretion of the referee
All other basketball rules apply.

--A normal size ball will be used. All teams can press subject to the 15 point rule. A team winning by 15 points or more must stay behind the 3 point line extended.
--First Violation will be a warning. 2nd Violation is Technical and so on. This will be at the discretion of the referee. None of these technical violations count towards a coach to be ejected
--Clock will stop on every whistle the last 2 minutes of the game. They do count as a warning towards a team. During this period clock does not stop after a made basket. At any time. Unless the referee blows his whistle clock continues.
**********15u Tyro and 17u Junior / Senior*********
Pressing is allowed all game subject to the 20 point rule. If a team is up by 20 points or more that teams must drop down and play defense at Half Court. When pressing the Defensive team must allow the team advancing the ball room to get over 1/2 Court. For good measure I would say 3 feet behind Half Court. Once the team advances over 1/2 court defense can pick up. This is at the discretion of the referee.
First Violation will be a warning. 2nd Violation is a Technical and so on. This will be at the discretion of the referee. None of these technical violation count towards a coach be ejected and will not count.

Players will not be allowed to play with a number taped on this is not allowed. No tape numbers on a players uniform. Player will not be allowed to play.
Also No player is allowed to wear an arm sleeve unless there is written documentation from a medical doctor .
--All referee's should carry these rules with them. --No head bands or wrist bands allowed as well.
-- Protests shall be done before a game or during the game. The referee and coaches must sign the book. The dheets in the book as well as the sign in sheets must he collected by the referee amd sent in by the referee. The coach must fill out the Protest sheet and send in any documentation along with the Protest fee.
