The Green Hornets field premier travel teams at the 9 through 14 year old age groups. Generally the teams are rostered with the best players in each age group. The teams normally play their league games in either the Mid-Atlantic Baseball Association (MABA), Baltimore Metro League or the Chesapeake Baseball Association (CBA). In addtion to league games the teams play in numerous tournaments from March through July. Some teams may play during the fall season. The teams are self-funded and required a significant time commitment by both the players and parents. Playing time is not guaranteed and is dependent upon the number of rostered players.
Tryouts for the 2015 Teams were held during July and August of 2014. Rosters for 2015 have been established.
Tryouts for the 2016 teams will be held in July and August of 2015. Tryout announcements will be by mass email from the Green Hornets, on this website and in the Green Hornets' column in Thursday's Annapolis Capital newspaper.
