Majors/Minors Rules meeting
On Wednesday, April 20th, @ 6:30pm at Fox Valley Technical College, Room C190 ABC, we will have a Majors/Minors Rules meeting and then following that there will be a league wide Safety Meeting that will begin at approximately 7:30 and go for about 45-60 minutes.
The Rules portion of our program is designed to go through as many of the LL rules for Majors and Minors Baseball, as well as a number of League protocols that you and your staff need to be aware of.
Agenda Items will include: Playing Rules, Fields/Weather, Schedules, Rosters, Opening Day, City Tournament, All-Stars, Standings/Website, and other League Special Events, to name some of the many items we will move through as quickly as possible.
I believe that this is one of the most important meetings of the season in that it will help us all have a great understanding on how to make this baseball season run as smoothly as possible for our player and parent members.
The ALL LEAGUE/ALL DIVISIONS SAFETY MEETING begins @ 7:30pm. We will all receive a short presentation regarding first aid and then each team will receive their ice packs.
Directions, parking maps, and floor plans may be found at www.fvtc.edu/appleton. Please be aware that FVTC is a tobacco free campus.
** Managers, please invite your coaches and team business managers. Commissioners, please follow-up with all Majors and Minors managers to make sure that they have at least one representative attending this meeting.
** Commissioners for Rookie and Tee Ball, please make sure that at least one representative of each team attends the Safety Meeting at 7:30 pm.
