FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Who are the Allentown Central Catholic Mini Vikes?

A: The ACCMV are a non-profit Football and Cheer Youth Organization serving ALL children from ANY school in the Lehigh Valley--both private and public. We are members of the Mountain Valley Youth Football League.


Q: Where is the ACCMV located?

A:All practices and home games take place at Alton Park (Percy Ruhe), 1519 Oxford Drive, Allentown, 18103.


Q: What ages may participate in the ACCMV Youth Organization?

A: Our Football program is open to youth ages 4 1/2 to 12 years old.
Typically, ages 4 1/2-6 play flag, while ages 7/8 play 85 lb tackle, ages 9/10 play 100 lb tackle, and 11/12 play 130 lb tackle.
Our Cheer program is open to youth ages 4 to 13 years old.


Q: What is the cost per program?

A: As of August 1st, 2021, our Flag Football and Cheer Programs are $65 per participant. Our Tackle Football Program is $125 per participant.


Q: Does the ACCMV offer any incentive for families or multiple players?

A: Yes! We offer a tiered discount for TACKLE ONLY--$25 per participant. We also offer a $25 multi-program discount for families with participants in MULTIPLE PROGRAMS (i.e., a child in cheer and a child in flag). You may use the coupon code found on our website under "Programs" upon beginning your registration.


Q: When does the Fall 2021 season begin?

A: August 2nd is our first practice for ALL programs, with our first game (home) on August 28th. Practice schedules vary per program/team. Your child(ren)'s coaches will confirm practice schedules with you August 2nd.


Q: Does my child need experience to join the ACCMV?

A: Absolutely not! The ACCMV is delighted to accept participants of any and all abilities.


Q: Why should we join the ACCMV?

A: Our organization is dedicated to prioritizing its youth. We believe in teamwork, good sportsmanship, and FUN. Drama and politics have no place on our field. We uphold a family atmosphere and hold events that bring us together--like ice cream, pizza, and flapjack fundraisers, "Youth Night" at J Birney Crum Stadium, homecoming festivities, "Pink Out" games, an end-of-the-year banquet, and off-season gatherings. In addition, all of our coaches and board members are certified in the Protecting God's Children class.
