Code of Conduct

Note: For all players who make a team, this form will need to be printed out and signed before practices begin.



We, the players, coaches and parents understand the need for a code of conduct which stresses good sportsmanship and excellent behavior by all groups associated with Fremd Feeder. We all agree that we will do our best to adhere to the following guidelines:

1) The players, coaches and parents are all critical parts to the success of the Fremd Feeder Program. We will all work together in order to make the Fremd Feeder Program a success.

2) We will respect our coach?s decisions understanding that the coaches will work diligently to make sound decisions based upon the good of the team while respecting the individual needs of the players.

3) We will support and respect our teammates at all times on and off the court. Parents will encourage their daughters to recognize that they are a part of a total team and it is beneficial to encourage their teammates at all times. Everyone will refrain from negative comments about any player or parent recognizing the negative impact this can have on the team dynamics.

4) We will give 100% effort in practices and in games, but always within the rules of the game. Players will make every effort to work at and understand all plays and strategies being implemented by the team.

5) We will respect and show good sportsmanship towards the opposing players, coaches and parents knowing that we are representing Fremd Feeder, our team and ourselves. This is acknowledged by both players and parents. Parents may be asked to leave games if the referees involved feel that any individual parent is being overly disruptive.

6) We will be respectful of our opposing teams facilities.

7) We will respect the referees and their decisions.

8) Parents commit to refrain from ?coaching? from the sidelines. Although well meaning, this is disruptive during the game and instructions given may contradict coaching directives.

9) Players will stay on the bench or on the court during the game, timeouts and halftime. We are a team and we need to spend the break time concentrating on the game.

We have read and we understand the Code of Conduct. We will work diligently to follow the various rules set forth in the Code of Conduct at all times. We also understand violations of these specific guidelines may result in disciplinary action against either the player or parent of both. Any disputes on disciplinary action will be brought to the attention of the Board of Directors.
