2026 CYO Girls Softball



Registration for 2026 Girls Softball is now open for Grades 3rd thru 8th grades.
Registration fee is $200

***This year we hope to have 3 teams.
*3rd/4th Grade -Sub-Novice Division
*5th /6th grade -Bantam Division
*7th/8th grade- Intermediate Division.

Last years bantam and Intermediate teams were full and if all previous players sign up to play there will be limited room for new players.

Our new Novice team will be 3rd and 4th grade together.

Registrants must either attend St Margaret Catholic Academy, live within the St Margaret parish boundary or be from a parish that doesn't have a softball program. Priority goes to current players, parish residents, SMCA students.
The season is set to begin in April 2026 so practices should start in Middle of March as weather permits. Practices are usually on weekday afternoons but may change due to weather or as needed for the coach/program.

Participation in the upcoming softball season will require your child, your family member and guests to comply with the policies of CYO, St Margaret Parish and the sports association at the time of the softball season.

Failure to comply with these policies, procedures and rules can result in removal from practices and games.

All players will receive a new uniform




St Margaret's Softball plays in the CYO Softball League and all St Margaret athletes must register on the CYO Registration System. Please log onto CYO Athlete Registration at direct link - https://doodlio.com/#/reg/10055/1462/login or google cyobq and look at the top right for athlete registration
and complete the CYO athlete registration to obtain a CYO ID #. You must register each year, if you registered for Volleyball this season (2026) you can use the registration number you received.

Once the CYO ID is obtained, you will be able to complete St. Margaret's Registration.

THE UNDERSIGNED, ON HIS OR HER BEHALF AND ON BEHALF OF SUCH PARTICIPATING CHILDREN, HEREBY RELEASES, WAIVES, DISCHARGES AND COVENANTS NOT TO SUE CYO, RCDOB, the parishes, St. Margaret's, within RCDOB and or the Catholic Academies within RCDOB, their directors, officers, employees, volunteers and agents from all liability to the undersigned or such participating children and all personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin of the undersigned or such participating children for any loss or damage, and any claim or demands on account of any property damage or any injury to, or an illness or the death of, the undersigned or such participating children whether caused by the negligence, active or passive, of CYO, RCDOB, the parishes within RCDOB and or Catholic Academies within RCDOB or otherwise while the undersigned or such participating children are in, upon, or about the premises or any facilities or equipment therein at CYO, RCDOB, the parishes within RCDOB and or the Catholic Academies within RCDOB.

I hereby warrant that, to the best of my knowledge, my child is in good health and able to participate in all program activities.
STATEMENT OF SOCIAL MEDIA AND PHOTOS
I understand that photos/videos may be taken at games and practices etc. and that the St Margaret Sports Association, there staff and coaches may place such photos on our website, Facebook page etc.
We do expect that anyone taking photos and videos at games and practices etc. would post with a focus on good sportsmanship and only in a positive manner.
St Margaret Sports Association cannot control what someone may post online.
If I find something posted about any St Margaret Sports Association activity not in line with this policy I will let the association know, so they can try to remove it .

I understand that ....
...play time is based on competitive ability, attendance, number of players on the team.
.....Players are not guaranteed equal playing time but we do strive to get all players who attend practices into the games.
.....The coach will try to make the season enjoyable and fun for all the players.
.....Team and coaching assignments will occur after registration, at the discretion of the administrators of the program.
.....All participating families are required to volunteer throughout the course of the season as needed.
My family is aware of and agrees to, abide by the CYO Parent Code of Conduct, and to volunteer as required.
Any infractions to these rules and subsequent discipline is at the sole discretion of CYO and the administrators of the program.
