CODE OF CONDUCT

CAPE CORAL MEN'S 43+ SOFTBALL LEAGUE
Player Code of Ethics
All members in Cape Coral Men's 43+ Softball League shall conduct themselves as adults both on
and off the field.
All members shall:
a. Abide by all Cape Coral Parks and Recreation rules including but not limited to,
intoxication, profanity, and/or loud and abusive behavior.
b. Abide by the current Rules and Regulations set forth by the League Board.
c. Support and carry out decisions made by the League Board.
d. Accept the decisions of the umpires and team managers with good sportsmanship.
e. Avoid bodily contact that may cause injury to oneself or others.
f. Never direct abusive or profane language at umpires, opponents, teammates,
League Board or spectators.
g. Never strike, attempt to strike, or throw an object at an umpire, opponents,
teammates, League Board member or spectators.
h. Never commit any act that could be considered unsportsmanlike conduct.
i. Volunteer to support the League operations by assisting in any area that needs help.
j. All players are responsible to see that teammates adhere to this Code.
PLAYERS MAY BE SUSPENDED BY THE LEAGUE BOARD FOR ONE OR MORE GAMES WHEN
THIS CODE IS VIOLATED.
I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ AND I UNDERSTAND EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THE
PROVISIONS ON THIS WAIVER, RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT
AND AGREE TO ABIDE BY THEM.
