*** Coaches agreement and code of Conduct.***

I the above name coach applicant, accept the assignment and responsibility as a coach with North Texas Elite Athletics and Xtreme Speed. As such I agree to uphold the Constitution, By-Laws, Standing Rules, and the terms of the Coaches Agreement and Code of Conduct, to wit:

Section A Uniformity: All Coaches shall represent the club in a uniform and professional manner at all times during practice or events.

A1: Coaches event attire shall be of designated uniform shirt with contrasting shorts or pants. Coaches shall wear closed tennis shoe or shoes. No flip flops or sandals are permitted.

A2: Coaches practice attire shall consist of attire that EXCLUDES flip flops, sandals and under shirt A tank tops. Tights and Spandex are permitted as under garmets only. Specifically Coaches are required to wear cover shorts with these items at all times during practice or events.

Section B: General guidelines.

1. Coaches are specifically responsible for the actions and conduct of all Team Members.

2. Coaches shall serve at the discretion of the Club Athletic Director and may be removed by the Club Athletic Director or by majority vote of members of the officer group.

3. Such removal being by Club Athletic Director or majority votes of those present representing a quorum. Violation of the Constitution, By-Laws, Standing Rules, or Coaches Agreement and Code of Conduct shall be grounds for dismissal.

4. Any non certified Coach shall not at any time be on the track or sidelines during games or track meets.

5. Coaches shall be present at all practices and scheduled meets and games.

6. A Coach may remove a player or athlete from Club activities for misconduct, or failure to abide by and / or support the rules of the Organization. The Officer group will, if necessary, meet for the purpose of upholding the removal. Final Club action will reflect concern for the good of the athlete or player as well as the Organization.

7. All Coaches shall encourage their team members to vigorously support all programs of the Club.

8. Coaches are responsible for the actions and behavior of the athletes at scheduled games, meets and practices. All Coaches, will at all times by personal actions, present an example of lady like and gentlemanly behavior. They will not encourage, or cause to be encouraged, any overt or extreme actions during practices,games or track meets.

9. Coaches are prohibited from making any payment of valuable consideration to a player or athlete, either for participation in or as an incentive to participate in any game or meet. (valuable consideration includes money). This rule shall not prohibit the awarding of symbolic awards to players.

10. In the case of action against a coach, the following procedure may apply:
a. The coach and the complainant can appear before the officer group. Each party will be afforded the opportunity to present his side of the case.

b. The Officer group will then review the situation in closed session. Both parties will then be called in and advised of the decision. Penalties could range from dismissal of complaint due to lack of merit. To reprimand or dismissal of Coach.
