Player's Code of Conduct
PURPOSE
This Code of Conduct establishes the expectations for all players and parents within the Gold Star Post 191 Baseball program. By signing, all participants agree to uphold the values of respect, discipline, teamwork and sportsmanship, ensuring a positive environment for player development and team success.

PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCT
-Respect all teammates, coaches, officials, opponents and parents at all times.

- Commit to Effort & Improvement by attending practices and games, giving 100% effort, and striving for growth as an athlete and teammate.

-Exhibit Sportsmanship by winning with humility and losing with dignity, refraining from taunting, profanity or unsportsmanlike behavior.

-Follow Team Rules including arriving on time , ready to work hard , wearing proper uniform and listening and respecting coaches.

-Represent Gold Star Post 191 with Integrity on and off the field. My actions reflect myself, my family and the program.

CONSEQUENCES FOR MISCONDUCT
-First Violation: Verbal warning by coach or program director
-Second Violation:Suspension from practice or games.
-Third Violation: Possible Removal from the program without refund.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT & AGREEMENT
By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understand and agree to follow the Gold Star Post 191 Baseball Code of Conduct . I accept responsibility o upholding these standards as a member of the Gold Star Post 191 Baseball family.

Parent's Code of Conduct
-Support the Team by encouraging all players, not just my child and reinforcing the lessons of effort, respect and teamwork.

-Respect Coaches and Officials by refraining from criticizing decisions, coaching from the stands or confronting umpires during the game.

-Promote a Positive Environment by modeling composure, encouragement and good sportsmanship.

-Communicate Appropriately by following the 48 hour rule before approaching coaches regarding concerns and addressing issues respectfully.

-Prioritize the Players' Experience over winning, understanding the development, teamwork, and character comes first.

-Abide by Team & League Policies including practice/game attendance, financial commitments, and rules set forth by Gold Star Post 191.

CONSEQUENCES FOR MISCONDUCT
First Violation: Verbal Warning
Second Violation: Parent/Guardian suspension from practice or games.
Third Violation: Possible removal from the program.
