2023 Player Registrations

League Eligibility: Youth between the ages of 4 and 12 (born between May 1, 2010 and April 30, 2019) whose parent(s) legal address is within the town limits of Durham, Pownal, or Freeport are eligible. Age is determined by player as of April 30th. Example: Player's birthday is May 1st, 2010. For League purposes this player is 12 this year. If the player's birthday were before May 1st, 2010, they would be considered 13 years old. If you have questions about whether your child meets these criteria, please call the league president for clarification

Players are assigned levels based on age. If you feel your child should play at a level above their age group they MUST attend a player evaluation at Spring Clinics. The league board will vote on whether or not to change the player's division based on if they can safely play at that level. Please email president@durhambaseball.com to make a date for evaluations.

T-Ball and Rookies Levels: In T-ball level, players hit off of a tee. In some situations this may include coach pitch. In this case, after 4 pitches the player will bat off the tee. For the Rookies level we use a kid/coach pitch. If a player pitches three walks in one inning the coach will pitch the remainder of that inning, and no additional walks will be allowed.

All new players should have their Birth Certificate for age verification

Season starts the last week of April and runs through mid-late June. Games are typically scheduled on weeknights or Saturdays. The season is extended for Minor and Major league players who are selected for participation in All-Stars.

Durham Youth Baseball is committed to providing the youth of Durham with a safe and fun opportunity to learn the game of baseball.

We ask our parents to support that goal by demonstrating good sportsmanship at all games.

In case of accident or illness, I authorize representatives of Durham Youth Baseball to use their judgment in obtaining immediate medical care for my child. Parents will be notified of serious illness or injury as quickly as they can be reached, but this will allow immediate treatment.
