ARE YOU IN THE RIGHT PLACE? TRI-CITIES SOFTBALL IS BASED IN LITTLE CENTERVILLE/APPLE SPRINGS, TEXAS. OUR HOME FIELDS ARE LOCATED AT 211 HELMIC ROAD JUST OFF HWY 94 NEAR CENTERVILLE SCHOOL.
IF YOU ARE REGISTERING FOR 19U DEBS PLEASE BE AWARE THAT REGISTERING YOUR CHILD FOR THE 19U DEBS TEAM MEANS THAT YOU ARE COMMITTING TO PARTICIPATION IN THE DIXIE WORLD SERIES IN RUSTON, LOUISANA BEGINNING JULY 25TH. MORE DETAILS ABOUT THIS TOURNAMENT AND FUNDRAISING FOR THE TOURNAMENT WILL BE AVAILABLE AT FIRST PRACTICE.
League provides: Jersey, Supplemental Insurance, Practice and Playing Fields
You will be responsible for providing: Shorts (6U & 8U teams only), pants, cleats (ages 9U-19U), Fielders Mask (required for ALL infielders in EVERY age division). You may also wish to purchase an appropriate bat, batting helmet, batting gloves or any other special equipment/gear. Coaches will be equipped with a few bats and helmets but parents may wish to purchase their own. Please mark your child's personal equipment. We highly recommend each player having their own batting helmet. All equipment MUST be Dixie certified. Please check with your coach or the Commissioner for specific requirements or restrictions.
NOTICE: Player will not be placed on a team and uniform ordered unless registration payment is recieved by March 1st. If a payment arrangement has been set up at least half must be paid by March 1st.

Registration Information: Players new to the league or moving into a new age division will automatically be placed in open draft, however the league may opt to allow coaches moving into a new age divisions to retain their players also moving into the same age division. Parents of returning players have the right to elect for their child to be placed in open draft or remain with previous coach. In the case of multiple teams in a specific age group there is no guarantee that your child will be placed with a specific coach unless they are a returning player for that coach. PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT
THIS LEAGUE CAN NOT OPERATE EFFECIENTLY WITHOUT INVOLVMENT FROM YOU THE PARENTS/GUARDIANS.
One of the most important things we can ask you to do is help us raise funds to keep Tri-Cities Youth Softball League operating. All the money raised goes to purchase equipment, mow fields, maintain buildings, pay umpires and provide a great experience for you and your child. The requirements below are very important and we ask that you take this commitment seriously and be available to help.
* I/We agree to aid in fundraisers deemed appropriate by the Tri-Cities Youth Softball League Board. Participating in fundraising is a requirement for my child to participate with TCYSL. (We have many unique fundraising opportunities this year that will begin once practices begin) This is per child, board members and coaches children are NOT exempt. The $50 buy out fee must be paid by the first practice or it is assumed you will participate in the fundraiser. Any player who does nor participate in fundraising or pay opt out by deadline will not be allowed to participate in post season tournament play. What constitutes as participation: Selling/Collecting a minimum of $50 per fundraiser
* At least one Parent of each player must volunteer at least 1 hour in the concession stand for the current season for that child to be eligible for post season tournament play. An opt out fee of $35 per player is available and must be paid by the first practice.

TCYSL will use our website and Facebook page to keep players and parents/guardians updated throughout the season. Both will also be updated randomly with pictures of games, our players, activities, and anything softball related.
