Coaches Code Of Conduct

* To know and abide by the rules of the game and league rules.
* To set an example of good sportsmanship, fair play, dignity and patience for all players, coaches, referees, parents and spectators.
* I am responsible for the conduct of myself, my players.
* To teach each player, especially through personal example, to be humble and generous in victory as well as proud and courteous in defeat.
* To demand that parents and other spectators associated with the team positively encourage all players during games.
* To avoid criticism of coaches, players, referees and other spectators before, during and after any games.
* To respect the referees, other coaches, players and spectators of the opposing team.
* To respect the referees assigned to any game and to refrain from calling into question their judgment or calls.
* To promote the good of the game.
* NO CUSSING, to any one or kids.
* Not putting your hand on your or other kids.

Requirements - (league pays for classes)
* Fill out a background check request every 2 years.
* Background check must come back clean with in the past 5 years. (Absolutely - No child offenses at all)
* Get certified by USA Football every 2 years.
* Get CPR certified.


If a coach DOSE NOT follow direction or acts unsportsmanlike the following actions will result.

1st. - Verbal warning.
2nd. - Written warning
3rd. - One week/game suspension
4th. - Expulsion


If any fights or confrontation occurs, coach will be escorted off the stadium. After the occurrence there will be a 24 hour none contact. If the coach would like a meeting with the board, he/she will have to send an email to BAYCITYLILCATS@GMAIL.COM requesting a meeting. The individual will NOT be allowed back on any filed till the board comes to a decision.


I understand and agree that if I fail to comply with this Code of Conduct or any rules or regulations promulgated by Bay City Youth Football & Cheer or SCYFA, I am subjected to sanctions, but not limited to suspension or expulsion from coaching.

By signing this document, I acknowledge that I have read this Code of Conduct and the rules of the BCYFC and SCYFA I agree to comply with this Code of Conduct and all BCYFC & SCYFA rules.
Will follow the direction of the SCYFA and BCYFC bylaws and schedules.
