WAIVER INFORMATION

I/We the parent or guardian of the participant understands GYAA sports (football/cheer/softball/baseball/volleyball/basketball) is not an activity neither sponsored by nor affiliated with the Granger Independent School District or any of the district's staff. I/We understand Granger ISD is not responsible for any accidents or cost arising from my child's/children participation in the league. I/We know that participation in any of the above sports may result in serious injuries that protective measures do not prevent all injuries to players, and do hereby waive, release, absolve, indemnify and agree to hold harmless GYAA, GISD, the organizers, the sponsors, supervisors,volunteer coaches, board members, participants and persons transporting my/our child to and from activities, from any claim arising our of any injury to my/our child whether of negligence or for any other cause. I/We also agree to abide to GYAA rules and code of conduct. I/We will conduct myself/ourselves and any representative on my behalf in a SPORTSMAN LIKE MANNER at ALL times. I/We also understand the success of this league is largely dependent upon community volunteers. I/We understand as the parent/guardian, we will be expected to volunteer in the concession stand and agree to do so. For our children's protection and safety, anyone who has committed any criminal act against children WILL NOT be eligible to participate in any of GYAA's positions (IE Coach, referee, concession Stand, score table, board member).
