| hey guys.. i hope everyone break is goin justthe way they want it..
but i was just wondering if any one knows where the fort lauderdale compettion is takin place at.. i wanted to make hotel reservations.. thanks...

| forgot to add... the host hotel of the comp. is the Marina Marriott which is $140 a night (yikes!)

| OMG!!!! Does anyone know a place we can stay in that ever so expensive Ft Lauderdale area! I checked out about 6 hotels within a mile and not only where they several hundreds of dollars but also booked!!!! Where is everyone staying? Details plzzzzzzzzzzz.

| I have had no luck in finding a hotel with any availabity as of yet. The host hotel, Marina Marriott for $139.00 is full. All others are $187.00 per night and up. If anyone has info, please post ASAP.

| I found at the Hampton Inn on Commerical Blvd the rooms are $149 and if you belong to AAA or AARP they are $134.10 they only have about 10 rooms left and its about 12 miles from the comp. very easy directions to get there. The number is 954-735-7575 it is in Tamerac on Commerical Blvd. It is also directly off the turnpike so it is easy to find. If you want more info then give me a call.

| T. and I have booked a room at the Fort Lauderdale Beach Palace Hotel and Suites--if you are a AAA member, they have some rooms available for 109.00--it is approx. 7 miles from the convention center and on the ocean. On expedia.com they want 129.00 for it.
