| We get all of our umpires through the Southern Illinois Umpire Association. Some umpires have retired and others just don't do it anymore. So, the association is in very short supply of umpires this year.
If anyone is interested, get ahold of me as soon as you can. We should have the Men's League covered with some really good umpires hopefully this year. But Co-Ed on Monday and Friday and then Church on Tuesday may be short.
You have to take an open book test to qualify to be an umpire. Then there is a $40 ASA registration fee and a $10 Southern Illinois Umpire Association fee that has to be paid. If anyone from our league is interested, we could help on those fees.
Again, we need umpires on Monday, Tuesday and Friday night. If you are at all interested, contact me.
