| A crime was committed this Sunday when "THE" Vipers were playing the Paso Eclipse on Evers Field #1. The game was a back and forth strugle going into the top of the fifth inning. Both defences were playing well but "THE" Vipers' Maddie "White shoes" Smith, Lety "Lettuce" Combs and Dannielle "don't call me Maddie" Vogel made unbelievable catches in the outfield to stop every attempt by the Eclipse to run away with the game. With the score 8 - 9 in the top of the fifth the masked man behind the plate shrunk the strike zone like a 100% chineese cotton shirt,washed in hot water and put on high temp dry for 2 cycles. If the girl din't swing EVERY pitch was a ball? Umps like players can have a bad game. None of the girls were upset because everyone played so well, offensively and deffensively, and that is what really matters.
Way to keep your heads up and enjoy the game!!!!
