| WHAT A JOKE ON THIS RULING FOR REAL YOU GUYS SHOULD HAVE SAVED THE EMBARRISMENT OF US GOING OUT THERE AND POUNDING THE CRAP OUT OF YOU GUYS AGAIN THATS OK BECAUSE JRS NEW WARRIOR WAS NOT THERE THAT GAME SO NOW HE WILL BE ABLE TO.THERE IS A SHOT THAT JRS MAY BREAK TRIPLE DIGITS IN THIS GAME AND SCORE 105 RUNS THATS ALL U GUYS DID WAS RUIN UR SUNDAY AFTERNOON!!!!!

| An interesting outcome to say the least. I could definately understand if it was a crucial play that cost one team or the other the game, but we're talking about a game that was pretty much out of hand and wasn't really close. If Jr's won by one run that would be a different story.
Personally, I would have just taken the loss and continued on with my season. Just my opinion.

| i hear ya bigd, i am outraged at the so called fair voting done at the joke of a meeting last night, all i have to say is that some teams in the league( and it must be more than half) are in absolute awe of our team to even consider a ruling like the one that happened. they want us to lose so bad that they need to pull out every trick in the book for that to happen. cause when we have our whole team on the field not many teams in this league will beat us. its one thing to play the whole game over. but to start in the middle of an inning in which the other team only had a lead for 1 inning is complete bullshit. i guess we will just have to 40 run those guys just to make you bastards hate us more.

| A joke, JR's is a joke. A bunch of overrated players. If it was not for that call, the game would have went differently and you know it. Bring your bats and needles and settle this one playing by the rules.
You guys talk alot of trash but we will see who is there at the end, and that will not be JR's unless you cheat again !!!

| Thats wicked funny...When we (JR's)talk on these boards its mostly bustin balls and fun, its a fun league, but to say we are joke, cry babies<---sometimes true, and overrated, by sayin that you dont really care for your pitcher. overrated??? we lost 3 games last yr, and and scored a ton of runs??

| hey p day let me get this straight we cheated because the ump made a bad call? u talk alot of shit for a team that is 0-3.and were overated? at least win a game before u talk shit.now were do u play in the field? or do you even play? i hope not on the right side because last time we played jrs new left handed rokett launching ankle busting muscle head was not there but he will make sure he is there and after the game he will be staying after to sign autograghs. so feel free to stay and get one

So let me see if I have all of this straight. The ruling, which the umpires should have known to begin with, resulted in the game being continued from the point in which it hapened? Somehow 2 wrongs make a right around here. Where is the tent for this circus?

| Well not to throw gas on the fire but....
Major Props to the VFW for giving me and my Pub team a royal ass kicking this weekend. Artie, you put together a nice team with some major bombers on it...they beat us fair and square, no bitching no whinning, just lots of respect for a team that hits the ball extremely well...Look out the rest of you teams out there, the VFW is for real.
Those guys hit the ball like they hated it, like it owed them money, while me and my boys took a more pacifist, almost buddhist approach to hitting, trying our best to be gentle.
They say losses teach you more than your wins, and certainly alot of questions were raised...like "do you think that fuckin ball has landed yet?"
So in closing....this is how you take a loss, just suck it up, admit the other team was better than you today, figure out what went wrong, and give the other team the credit they deserve. No one likes to lose, in fact I hate it, but the VFW was a better team Sunday...they have my respect, Mertog out!

| Hey Joe Mama, I really can't think of ANY reason to protest a game's outcome. Whether it be one or two bad calls, whether it's s questionable roster or use of an illegal bat, it doesn't matter to me...I wouldn't protest a loss period.
Calls are calls, and in this league, I've seen a ton of bad or simply questionable ones, but usually the umps make them both ways and it all comes out in the wash. I thought the umps made some really bad calls against my team this week, but they also made some bad ones against the VFW too! They kicked our ass...period! A couple of calls wouldn't have made a difference either way.
As far as rosters go...who cares who you play, I don't care if a team shows up with Manny Ramirez, I still want to beat them and I would let him play...who cares who he is...I'd still like to think we could beat any team regardless of who is on the team, and if you don't have that attitude than you should not be playing this game.
Like I said I hate losing, but I would hate having to use a stupid ass rule to get a win against a team. In my opinion that is as cheesy and cheap as it gets. If you can't handle a loss from a better team, than simply pack your bags and leave. Mertog Out!

| I think that 99.9% of the people in the league would agree with you on that. I am starting to wonder is Pday is really on that team. Why would you make the whole league want your team to get their asses kicked by JR's. JR's isn't going to lose many this year. We should be hoping for them to lose not to score 50!!! I have to admit that I hope they score 50!

| If that protest was "filed" right at the point it happened in the first inning then there is no problem with that. At that point you don't know what the outconme of the game will be or if that call would afffect it. If it was done after getting squashed by 20 then protesting that is pretty weak. And even weaker for the league to even entertain it.

| they had 24 hrs to protest the game. it wasnt done during or even in the next one. the ump played that rule from the first inning of the first game for both teams. no sweat just another game to play, i just hope they are ready for a game
