Bulls travelled to Missisauaga to play the co-division leading Stars on Sunday.

Game 1 saw Leyland take the hill for the Bulls and he battled an inconsistent and very tight strike zone for 5 innings of work. Leyland allowed 3 runs, 8 hits, 4 walks and K'ed 4. Conlon pitched the final 2 innings recording 6 straight outs for the Bulls 8-3 win.

The Bulls got up early and never looked back scoring 3 in the first. 3 in the third and one in the 6th and 7th

Offensively, the Bulls were lead my Mousseau 3-3 with 3 singles and a run scored. Blasko had 3 RBI's.

In game 2, McKnight pitched 6 strong innings giving up 4 runs (1 earned) 6 hits, 0 walks and 2 K's The Bulls bats were hammering hard all game and the game could have been a mercy in the 5th till a Bulls error allowed the inning to go on and McKnight surrendered a 3 run homerun. Nevetheless, it was too little too late as the Bulls went on to win 13-4.

McKnight was solid at the plate as well with a 3 run homerun and double. Moose had a single, double 2 RBI's a walk and HBP giving him a 5-5 day and reaching on base 7 times. Willits had a single and a double.

Overall, the Bulls bats were strong and they improve to 7-1 on year and 6-0 within division.

They have now swept the 2nd,3rd and 4th place teams and have put themselves in driver's seat early on.

McKnight and Leyland are both 3-0 on year and despite giving us their first ER's on the year, both gave good efforts against a strong offensive team.

Bulls are next in action against Indians at Milcroft next Saturday.
