| Well, I would have to say this longest bomb I've seen this year belongs to Jim Desimmone. He crushed one that went out of right center at Joques, over the friggin trees and would have went over the building if it didn't hit the top of the telephone pole out in the parking lot.
Last year in fall ball, somebody from Jr's (Not sure who it was) nearly put it out of right field at Foster field...that was a huge bomb! Not to mention the fact it was a right handed batter going the opposite way because they had already used up their 5 dingers. I was praying for that one to go out so it would have been an out, but it dropped and bounced once and hit the fence.

| ryno hit one at fish against us this year that one hopped the tall grass in right center, to the left of the pole, if that doesn't explain how far it was, he had dragged his body to third before we picked it up

| Is that a broken down old man joke smitty? It will happen to you soon enough young fella.
I almost forgot. I saw Knight hit one at Foster that was still going up when it hit the trees. I can only imagine how far it would have went.

| No problem Lemdawg, I know when I've been whooped....and you guys put a major ass whoopin on us that day....Mark Costello was running his ass off all day shagging those Bombs you guys were launching.
I had a guy on my team last year...kinda looked like Cabbage from the UFC, in fact that is what I call him...he launched a shot at Foster that hit the top of the trees in Left Center, I'll just estimate it would have gone close to 500 if it didn't clip the top of the tree.
He is just a friggin Gorilla, problem is that was his one and only bomb of the whole season, the rest of his hits barely went out of the infield. Just one of those lucky swings I guess.

| Playing with CK since we were wee lads I've had the pleasure of watching many of his bombs no matter what size the ball. But I must say the softball he hit at Washington Oak last year that landed over the back left field pitchers mound was quite impresive...that would be about 100 ft deep in the woods if the woods extended to the right.

| Eloquently put, Stevens. Its hard to get a real appreciation for how far he hits the ball when the only place you see him hit is at Hunter's Crossing. They just go into the trees and disappear. But when I saw him taking warm up swings at Fish Hill after the games against CCFD (he was hitting old mushball gold dots and almost hitting the rocks in left field at Fish Hill), seein the moon shot he hit at Jogues on sunday, and watching him hit in a tournament this weekend (there was a cliff face about 15 feet behind the left field fence. Left was bout 300' out. I saw him hit one that nailed the middle of the cliff on a line and the ball was just about starting to make its decent) I got a real appreciation for what a real deal hitter he is.

| I seen big EW33 put one out at foster. Between right and right center. He didn't even grunt when he hit. It landed about 10 feet over the fence and in the woods. OOOOOOOOOOooooooooFFFFFF !!!!!
