| I dont live near North Saint Paul, but it did rain a ton in that area, I was supposed to umpire and I had three games cancelled over at Dunning. Not my issue, but to answer the rain questions, yes, it poored

| i do live near the north st. paul area and we had a game at stillwater that didnt get played and it was scheduled for 5pm. Saturday it rained a ton over here, but it was in our area. Im fairly convinced the sharks are just being whinners and are trying to keep their undefeated dream alive... it wont happen.

| I don't mean to stir the pot but we (Stockmens) played at Stillwater HS on Wednesday night and the infield was still extremely soggy so I can only imagine what it was like on Sunday. For some reason we had to play on their JV field since the varsity field had a Legion game but both fields were still soaked.

| Interesting we're comparing field conditions in SOUTH st. paul and NORTH st. paul. Thats the nice thing about storms. The rain comes down nice and even across the metro area. You're right Rhino if you got it in I'm sure the Roosters should've too. Of course it was the ROOSTER home game so maybe their thoughts on subject might mean something. Is it also interesting that down the Hwy at Stillwater they cancelled a game that was supposed to start 2 hours later? Hmmmmmm

| Well Joe in case you missed previous messages I am 6-0 this year and am completely dominating this league. I think I can make even you look foolish when I pull the string on my changeup. Couple that with my devastating fastball and you would be lucky to get a flare basehit. If you feel the need to get some live practice in just give me a call. I promise to only go 3/4 speed.

| what about this curveball i keep hearing about, I am told it is impossible for lefties to touch it? You know how good i am at hitting the off speed stuff. | It is easy to play at McGuire since it never sees any water on the field unless it rains. We actually put water on our field nightly so it is not like playing in a parking lot painted green.

| Who the hell cares how wet the outfield was, as long as there wasnt puddles on the infield the game should have been played! What did this turn into pussyball? Do we have to have perfect conditions to play? The damn pussy ass Roosters didnt want to play cause they did not have enough guys and it just happened to rain the night before so now they had an excuse for not playing the damn game. | Thanks for the insight Pizzle. I did't realize you were an expert in Field Maitanence and Grounds Work, especially for our field. Maybe you should talk to the City of NSP, they could use your expertise. The Roosters are well known for their forfeits and unwillingness to play games and Puss out for as long as they have been in the league.

Imagine if you guys got bent over by commish? You would probably start a new forum to be able to hold all your whining. By the way apparently your coach walked on the field to check. Unless he can scale a 15ft fence I seriously doubt it since it was locked. There were puddles at home plate, shortstop, and behind 1st base.....In the words of our umpire that came to check out field that day...."You could've fished out of home plate." Of course we have no say at OUR home field. Gotta love the skyline politics.

| pizzle, be careful, i am a Rooster Booster this year , me being Joe Mauer that means a lot. i have personally seen them play a couple of times this year and i wouldn't exactly call them bitches, they seem to have a very solid squad. i guess we will see on Wednesday night what happens, when the two teams FINALLY meet for real. pizzle you might want to pick up one of my Mauer QuickSwings, you might need the extra cuts.

| You're right we should've jumped at the chance to play OUR HOME GAME at YOUR FIELD. I know that Tri-City is royalty around here so we apologize for not making it nice and easy for ya. Was it hard not playing baseball that day? I mean the field has to be the only place where you can go that people aren't annoyed by you and by people I mean your own team.

| Again, The Skyline League commissioner ultimately made the decision and personally visited the field near game time on Sunday. He is also an umpire and judged the field conditions personally. Though I did not personally visit the facility, two people did, and both can vouch for the fact there was no "15 foot high" fence to scale, and the field was not locked. This situation has been dealt with between both coaches and the commissioner of the league.

| Shark attack, your right, the Roosters should give him the loss, that would be the right thing to do. For christ sake is it just me or does this Tri-City team whine a lot. I know that playing on the Twins, we would not allow it, it being the whining, Torii Hunter just would not stand for it. Good teams do their work on the field and not with their mouth's. i say play the game out on Wednesday and then you can talk all you want, Just remember you play amateur baseball...think about it.
