Doug Berfeldt does hold the current record for longest bomb given up in Shark history........off the parking lot fence in left center at White Bear South Campus several years back. Absolutely destroyed.

I'll second that, on the homer. I was in the outfield (rightfield, I believe)and watched in awe at the HUGE arc that ball took. My wife was actually in the car in the parking lot and said she thought the ball was going to hit the cars. Easily the longest homer I've ever winessed.

Jim Pitt has to be the best player in the Skyline League. Clutch hitting, smooth fielding and knowing what games he needs to show up to are phenomenal!

His recent interview and article in GQ magazine was great. They had him posing naked as Zeus with only his killer Oakley's as the exception to the shoot.

Apparently in four weeks after the state tournament, FSN is having an "Beyond the Glory" of Jim Pitt and his struggles of growing up blind in the ghetto of Roseville.

Man, I would feel dumb giving up a 671 ft. bomb to a blind guy.

Being a player for only 2 years now in the skyline. I dont know many players on the other teams but the lefty the roosters got over there was a tough out. He just seemed to get hits and did the things he needed to.

Ryan Carlson.

Pitt may be the GQ all-star, being all Tom Brady if Tom Brady wore upside down Oakleys on top of his hat and dropped 671 ft bombs, but Ryan Carlson is the anti-establishment hero. Anyone who has the guts to ride that killer bike, flicking off old people and drinking the blood of blind puppies as he runs his cycle over roadkill a second time, just to make sure, wins my vote.

Jordan Roering is the best player in this league. He is batting .440 and his range in centerfield is just ridiculous. In fact after his hit in our last game that drove in the winning two runs I heard him say...........
"I am the best player in this league."

My vote is for Mr. Jim Pitt. Let me tell you boys, he swings a big stick, on and off the field.
