A cold wet day in Burlington and mound counditions and a weird strike zone play a factor in Game 1 as the Bulls win 4-2 behind a Chris Hayes, 6 inning complete game.

Game 2 sees Rookie Bull Jamie Kozak throw a gem and carry a 7-2 lead into the 7th before a botched douple play let's the Tigers back in it with a 7-5 score. Kozak pitches better than score indicates and holds a strong Tigers offense hitless into the 5th inning. The Bulls hope to see Kozak in a Bulls jersey full time in '07.

With the win the Bulls move to a dominant 9-1 against East division opponents and secure a first round bye in the playoffs. Their magic number to clinch division shrinks to 2.5 over the Stars who are playing great baseball right now.
