I think it's very sad that the teams have decided not to give the award (or a share of the award) to Terence Burke. Would co-rookies be so bad?

We appreciate that all of you were so kind to him during the season by allowing him to have so many hits.

Being a part of this team was very special to him. I know that if received the award named after his brother, it would have meant the world to him. He would keep that trophy and cherish it forever.

I'm very disappointed.

I have not yet seen the awards and am unsure who won. What I will say is that you make a good point. My only question is what about the guys who played and may also deserve it. We cannot overlook that and take away from what the other rookies did. Perhaps we could create another award just for Terrence so that he receives something as well. Just an idea.
