| This was a game The Rams could've won but it snowballed on them in the 3rd Quarter. Offense did a nice job of moving the ball the first time all year Dylan Long has had a positive rushing game. Lost Conley on a bad tackle form a Salem player early on but did a good job iwthout him. Too me one of the main problems the Rams have is collective team speed. If they had a few players with some speed they could be in alot of games. Salem used 3 backs in which I think down the line that's what the Rams would like to use and if or when they do it and if they do it as good as Salem it will be successful. Warner doesn't have the greatest of arms but he's stilla round 50 % for the season but the 9 or so interceptions hurt him. I seen some positive from the offense that I didn't see in previous weeks as the option gained some yardage which get that clickin and that's a positive. The offense just has to pass downfield a little more because teams are starting to stuff the box full and with speed as such as Salem short route running won't equal much. Defense just doesn't have enough speed to contain speed. That plays were there for the defense to stop the run to the outside it was just that the corners don't have enough speed to charge at a player at make a play to a runningnback who has some nice speed. Salem pushed the line around but didn't dominate too bad it was that when the back would make a cut two another hole in the line noone tried to trip the player up or slow him down. Our offense isn't that much different or far away from Salem the problem is we don't have that one quick back with a couple other backs with decent speed. That does alot for a team running a variation of the Wing-T. I just don't think tge Ramns would've given up 49 points if the defense had some speed at xcertain or I guess somewhat key positions. In one final thing a few positives is not allowing Salem to score a 2-PT conversion or and Extra Point until the final one. And the blocked Field Goal attempt.
