WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE SOME MORE PEOPLE RUNNING AT THE TRACK.THE TURNOUTS HAVE BEEN VERY LOW. WE ARE HOPING ALL OF YOU BUILDING YOUR CARS WILL COME ON OUT AND RUN BEFORE WE HAVE TO BREAK DOWN THE TRACK FOR THE NASCAR RACE. I SEE A LOT OF TRAFFIC AT THIS WEBSITE BUT NO ONE AT THE TRACK? YOU ALL WANTED THE TRACK AND HERE IT IS. IT IS SAD THAT THE MAJORITY OF OUR SUPPORTERS ARE FROM OUT OF TOWN. WE MAY JUST CLOSE DOWN THE TRACK IF PEOPLE DONT SHOW UP TO PRACTICE!!!! WE DONT EVEN GET ENOUGH GUYS TO HAVE A RACE. THANKS,JOHN R.

Guys we all have reasons why we do not go to the track, including myself. I hope that everyone realizes what we have and is putting their best effort to support the track. Go out and run your cars. Get track time. We are having a state race on Dec. 9 and 10(the 10 is my birthday, just a note for gifts hahahahaha). It would be nice to see the locals at the race RACING, not just watching. These races have all level of drivers and you need to race in these events. They are how you learn so much and get better. They are alsoa blast. Andrew never wanted to go to these races and now he is one of the top drivers in the state races. That is only after 1 year of going to the state races. We can all get better and more competitive.

I agree....we really do need more turnout at the track. I know there are alot of people out there that do not even know about the track. I tell everyone that comes through the door at our shop and I would hope that other shops are doing the same.

I wonder if there is a way to get some media exposure...???

It's going to take some time. Many people lost interest or dropped out of the hobby all together, myself included, when RPR closed. I can probably name you 10 more heads that have dropped out off hand. And I'm sure there are more. Even before that, it still took awhile for Andy to get enough attendance to start holding races at RPR. It was great for awhile. Then after the initial season or two, attendance really slowed down. It's going to take a great effort, which you're obviously already doing, and patience to get this thing to grow. You have a local shop on your side, which really helps. The Warrick guys are always helping, but they're so far north I don't think many of their customers are down here on a regular basis. If you look at some of the past posts, it's not an uncommon thing you're experincing. Keep at it. you just gotta build your racer base and then things will be fun.
