Artie....

My guys from the Pub I would have to say

Danny Howard and Mark Costello

Danny hit .682 (5th in the League), with 14 Hr's (somewhere around 5th or 6th in the league) with 60 + hits (4th overall) Led the league in doubles with 19 and totalled 123 bases (3rd overall) Defensively he was a monster and gets to balls that only a few guys in this league can get to.

Mark Costello's numbers were up there as well, but mainly he is just an animal in the field with a friggin cannon for an arm.

Basically my case is that the PUB was a horrible team the previous year with a 2-28 record, and with the addition of these two guys we made the playoffs with a record of 19-9. In other words...these two guys made us a competitive team this year, and most likely one of the most improved teams overall.

I don't know if that means anything to the league overall...but when you judge a most valuable player the criteria is basically on how valuable they were to their respective teams. Without Howard and Costello, the Pub never would have made the playoffs and would have been a cellar dweller yet again.

Hey Ryno, we all know the answer to that question. I went through similar shit this year when people questioned my guys Howard, Costello and Vaccaro.
Nobody wanted to tell me who brought it up at the meeting and who started all the shit before they had their facts straight. At least I was able to straighten it out and had the opportunity to defend against the accusations. Jr. got totally fucking blindsided.

Ian Smith, on Crowe Bar, and his work for the league.

Also should take time to thank managers and the Baxters, Rob Raymond, and everybody else who makes the year possible.
