We are going to need a definate stratagy if we are going to have any chance of winning the CM Cup. Stacy and myself watched Hamilton beat Ayr Lions 8 - 1 on Saturday Night and the have a very strong side. They could probably give the Blackhawks a run for their money at the moment. we will have to do some serious preparation on Thursday.

best plan of attack is a bench clearance.

but how did the new rule effect ayr was it five on three to hamilton most of the time?

Bring on the benchy!!!! Need to get my penalty minutes up, been a good boy so far this season!! I think we will beat them by not giving away possession in their end and allowing them to rush coast-to-coast on us, and by tight marking. Just need to work hard and take our chances.

One tactic would be to, always, have someone hovering around their blue line - ready for the quick pass and also holding back their defence.
Also, in their end always someone moving in the slot and someone at the corner of the net - set the triangle.

Mack, the excersising of zero tolerance didn't seem to be much in evidence. Penalties were few and far between!

sounds to me that the refs aren't forcing the new rules as much as would be expected. as for the blue line man thats all very good but only if they track back i dont want 5 on 4 in our zone all the time. setting up the triangle is not that easy in hamilton, its so small that the zones are almost non existant.

on another point should we really discuss our gameplan on a forum that everyone can read?
