| Hello, I am here to see if there is any interest for 1/18th scale racing. We will begin racing once we generate enough interest to start a class. The surface will be either RCP Track material or a resurfaced parking lot. Our location is @ 12847 sw 42nd ST. The name of the store is MicroMotorSport Hobbies, and we currently race 1/28th scale and want to broaden the scene to 1/18, and may also run drifting sessions aswell. Thank you for your time, and hope to see soem of you come out to race :)

| i know there's about 10-15 guys who had/have M18's. From stock, to crazy modded ones. I still have all my stuff and wouldn't mind putting it back together for a little fun. Keep us updated on the 1/18th situation.

| alright cool, it would be great if you could let everyone know from the old crowd that used to race @ dave and busters about the new track. We're receiving the M18 Pro kits that were recently released by XRAY soon, and as soon as we get a decent showing of interest, we will begin pushing the scene of 1/18th scale racing. Here's a video of the spot where the track is going to be laid out. The car being driven is a 1/10th scale for reference: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8w0w4OElQM&mode=related&search=

| We will be receiving the newly released XRAY m18 pro kit shortly. these are THE ultimate racer for 1/18th scale. We also have the micro rs4 by HPI which also handle pretty well after you change the tires. The micro rs4 is availble in both a regular RTR and a Drift version that is essentially the same car w/ solid front axle abs tires and a gyro that assists drifting.

| This would be a good idea if its done during the week so that it doesnt affect the homestead track on the weekends. Lets all agree on a weeknight ,time, place, and some sort of classes. This is nice during the week because it is a healthy distraction from a hectic work week. Lets make it happen!!! Count me in!!! JOHN RODRIGUEZ

| I agree with John. Hopefully it is a during the week thing at night after people get off work, maybe 7 to 9 or something like that. Also on some sort of carpet. Makes it a lot cheaper and it is easier on the cars and pocket.

| DARREN TALKED ABOUT USING HIS TRACK FROM THE STORE AND ENLARGING IT FOR 1/18 INSTEAD OF MINI Zs. THAT STUFF IS GREAT ON THE CARS. J.ROD

| yep, we may run 4 of the RCP tracks in conjuntion w/ the expansion sets that widen the lanes, making it a perfect track for 1/18. as for weeknight racing, we'd have to see about that. we'd probably be able to do it on fridays (i have school during the week) until the summer during which i'd be able to stay and run the show pretty much any day of the week.

| Danny, Earlier this week I spoke with Ralph Burch from rcamerica the distributor of xray. He said they were waiting for the shipment to arrive from slovakia and clear customs by the end of this week or beginning of next. He also stated they were not going to be able to fill all orders which unfortunately would leave back orders. I dont think they were ablr to produce these kits fast enough to meet the demand. jrod

| we are awaiting word to get some expansion sets for our current track in order to accomodate the 1/18th scale cars. you can pass by during store hours and drive on the mini-z track if you like aswell. the m18's are so nimble that they can negotiate through the 1/28 track quite well.

| as am i, running a 6800 with a thunder power 2cell.
Ok we are trying to determine if we're going to use RCP or apply some tacky surface to the parking lot to make it have more grip. RCP is only going to be possible if everyone is willing to pay $10 for practice, because of all the work it takes to set up the track upstairs, on top of purchasing quite a bit of track in order to accomodate the 1/18th scale cars.
Would you prefer to pay $10 and run on RCP high bite track to practice or have us setup on the smooth concrete and either have it be $5 to practice.
Until then, feel free to stop by and check out our store/ mini-z track. you could even run the 1/18th on the current track, its just a little tight. (I personally like the tight track)

| I personally would rather pay the ten dollars and run on the rcp. However my problem is that I have not been able to purchase a car yet. I have tried calling Darren at his store to find out what he has in stock but never answers the phone. I am trying to show some support and buy products from him but obviously he doesnt need my money. I believe we can work together towards a common goal or work against each other. Either way let me know cause am looking into building a 1/18-1/14 scale track down at the speedway. See you fellas on Indy weekend....Regards,John Rodriguez
