| I chose the rainy cloud as the symbol because I have some sad news to report. Unfortunately, I will be stepping down from my post of score-keeper and officially retiring from the BPSL as I pursue greener pastures. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of the teams, players, and umps for all the good times. Good luck in finding a replacement as good looking as I. Brian [Milt] Stines

| Milt, many, many, many thanks for all the runs, hits and errors....thanks for your dedication to the league....mostly thanks for never charging me with a passed ball. On behalf of the Wedge,,,,(and we know our games cause you to go through lots of pencils) Thank you for everything, you will most certainly be missed.

| The Bayhouse is glad that Milt has chosen to forgo his career as official scorer so he can now focus some his time on becoming the dominant pitcher the Bayhouse so desperately needs.
We would also like to wish him well in his new career as a card dealer on an Indian Reservation in Upstate New York.

| You are leaving some Big Shoes to fill Milt! Does this mean we return back to the Don Hurley Era? HA! HA!

| While Milt has retired as the official scorer for the league, he will of course continue to be an "official scorer" with the ladies......
