| The Pittsburgh Northstars 13U Baseball is looking for 1-2 players to fill out their roster for this season. Due to recent injuries/illness we have openings. Interested players would have the option to remain on the roster in future years (we only hold tryouts when there are openings; all players return year-to-year). This AAU team can offer you one of the highest levels of competition in the greater Pittsburgh area. We have players from Monroeville, Upper St.Clair, New Castle, Wexford, etc. Our season consists of Super League (highest level AAU teams in 5 hr radius), WPA league (WPA tournament teams league), and 3-4 high level tournaments (these require overnight stays). We plan on finishing the season at the AAU Nationals in Myrtle Beach. While offering a high level of competion, the Northstars offers it at the lowest cost around. Fundraising is also available. Our coaches are NOT paid; this is a non-profit organization that works hard at keeping our costs down. Every player is passionate about the game, disciplined and has a strong sense of team play. (Many of our kids are playing school ball; the majority of our season is after the school season is over).
