| I don't know about being the commish.....he barely qualifies with the .093 to be manager of the Cardinals. I just hope to God it wasn't wine he was drinking.

| I know how to spell your name, you clown. If I spelled it right, people may have actually thought it was you that wrote it. Spelling your name incorrectly lets me poke fun at you without the rest of the league thinking you guys have the same "hair stylist."
And, for what it's worth, I think your just mad because Tony's BAC was higher than your BA!!!

| Some one talking about Tony for the commissioner's job? It is wide open, just speak up. He is going to have expand his ability to deal prima donna personalities. He presently deals with 25 at a time. This confederation presently has about 150. If he takes this job he had better stock up on the merlot.

| Archie, I dont think you could find 150 more understanding people. Everyone is only interested in whats best for the league, not whats best for their individual teams. But I probably dont need to tell you that.

| Hey, I wasn't saying we need a new commish, but until ours falls asleep at the wheel with his foot on the brake, then we will always be considered minor league.

| Wow, love the smack talk, but I find it hard to believe that email came from you, Archie.
By the way, I had several new jerseys printed up (four) and they are apparently running about a week behind. A couple of my new guys wont fit into any of my other jerseys, and I didnt have one small enough to fit one of the girls we added this year, so I may have a couple players without a jersey for the first couple games.
Depending on who misses the games the first week, I will do my best to have a jersey on everyone, but may not have enough to go around. Shouldnt affect anything after the first 3 games.
Hope that's not a problem.

| We have a retraction. I did not send the afore mentioned e-mail. My comments were on this site about new teams this year.
On the subject of unis, most teams have communicated their uni situation to me. Most everyone should have the situations in hand shortly. We have agreed as a collective to wear uniforms in this league. The term uniform means just that, everyone looking the same. Whatever your choice of colors are they should be the same. The largest of uniform inconsistency comes in the form of pants. Everyone should be wearing the same color. If you are wearing pin stripes, then everyone should have them. If the old ones don't fit buy new ones. The grace period on this offense is running out.

| hey arch aboutthe uniform pants. all gray, all white, all pinstripes . some teams have been wearing solid white and white with a stripe down the side ( either blue, orange, red etc) this is not matching pants. i hope you are including in the dress code

| I agree that the pants should be the same base color. Looks pretty sloppy with some wearing grey, some wearing white, some wearing pinstripes, but I think that not allowing piping (the stripe down the side, chuck) is taking it a bit too far.
I dont see quarter inch piping down the side too big of a deal. From straight on, you cant see it and you can barely tell, if at all from a hundred feet away. Of course, it doesnt help that 3 of my guys showed up with those pants and now they cant take them back.
Is there a huge problem with allowing pants with piping on them? It's certainly less of a difference than color or full pinstripes.

| I agree that the base color should be the same for pants. Piped or not is not a big deal.
I do have one guy that needs a 3X. It is on order, and has been for 3 weeks. He is wearing a white jersey right now. That is the only 3X jersey I have for him. He joined the team late, and the biggest size I had until ordering was 2X in royal blue.
So far I have not had a problem with the umps. Then again, I don't think I had the ump you are complaining about. I do know that the black ump was very questionable last year.
