| Trying to sort out accomodation just now with some of the guys at Edinburgh Uni. Looking like our best bet might be one of the hostels though.
Can we leave kit in the rink overnight, safely?
What's the deal with who's going through? Is there gonna be lines picked, or is it just a free for all?

| kit in cars is probably going to be the best bet andy, so long as they are parked somewhere secure. like ronnie says, lines will be made up thru there, but everyone will get equal ice time, none of this 1st, 2nd an 3rd line stuff. its all for fun (and beer)!

| Has any one read the rules for this tournie?
Theres a clause that says that teams are only allowed to play one import - does that mean the blackhawks will have enuff players?!!!!

| Gaz, believe it or not the Blackhawks don't have any players who are confirmed imports. They are all like Jeff, Canadians who live and work in the uk. To be confirmed as an import, any foreign player would have to have played in league hockey in their country of birth.

| Right ... how many bodies are going to be looking for accomodation?
I can get us into 3 bedroom/ensuite Apartments in the city for £45 a night, so that's £30 each for 2 nights.
But I need to know how many rooms we're looking for.

| i might have a problem with stayin now, as callums ment to be comin through with me, but he put in for a shift swop and his works forgot about it, so its lookin more like am guna have to drive through both days. or stay on the fridaynight to sat then drive home on the satnight and drive back on the sunday dependin on when we have games.

If you check the Tournament Schedule you will see that all our preliminary games ar on the Saturday (4 of in total). Bearing in mind the opposition that we are up against, it's just possible we may not have any games on the Sunday......... And before anybody stats screamin' at me about 'positive thinkin' and 'We arra peopel' etc etc. I'm only being realistic!!!!

| Thanks jimbo - I do say that if we modify our game somewhat and play with a bit of stratagy - getting into position to receive head-man pucks ; passing the puck to those in the best position ; protection of our zone ; not staying on the ice 'till our pan is totally bashed!' ; not firing the puck from the worst scoring position, etc, etc, etc, then it is completely possible that we may just achieve the impossible and Stevie will have to drive up and down to Edinburgh twice!!!
