| We are going to try and have a makeup night as it's supposed to be nice weather next Tuesday. The games would be makeups from the first week of rainouts : 6:15 & 7:15 - Burd vs. Ohney 8:15 & 9:15 - Abney vs. Summers

| Right. the managers are going to let me know who can't play. All of Summers is good, Abney is good except for you. Ohney and Burd are letting me know tonight. If we can get the majority of people there or enough to play, we'll play instead of just not having the games at all.

| Why not have the make up games on Weds. The men league usually plays on Wed and Thurs. Where did the Tuesdays make up games come up. I understand that rainouts happen, but if we would have had our rainouts on Weds we could have played the last couple of weeks. I work 3-11 and my days off are wed and thurs and I keep those days off to play softball in the summer. Anyway this will probably be my first and last spring draft league. Also I would have been at the meeting lastnight but like I said I work on Tuesdays. All of my players work evenings or midnights. Whatever I guess it really does not matter.

| Mens league in the summer is always on Wed and Thurs. How many people play in the church league and how many people play in the mens league? If you are really talking about the majority of players how many players do we have from each league.

| Hey, MAJORITY RULES.. I understand some people can't play on certain nights. But you have that problem whatever day u chooz. No body likes rainouts but that's what happens in spring. You can't please everybody no matter what. It's better than not making up games at all! If you don't think that's the FAIREST way then stay home and play kickball!....remember whatever day/night majority guys can make it.. just my opinion...

| Guys, Church is the main reason why I’m not scheduling the games on Wednesday. People who have a heavy number of church players, usually ask to play on Thursdays if possible in the summer. Also, Wednesday and Thursday are back to back nights. People with family, children, etc.. back to back nights makes it a bit harder at home.
As I said in the beginning of the draft league, there won’t be any makeups. Everyone was told this coming in to the league. But, I figured that we’d try and throw it out there on a night when the most people could make it. Tuesday or Monday would be that night.
If this causes people to not play spring league any more, then that’s fine. That’s one less check to depost and one less registration form to enter. I do this so people who want to get out and get a chance to play in the spring can. If people don't want to, that's totally fine.

| Ok we are still talking about mens ADULT softball right?
I coach a 12 yr olds girls team with less complaining..
Gees, this is ridiculious. Either play or not who cares. If we didnt play youd be asking for 5 dollars back in the summer.
Dan is doing a grt job and trying to please everybody is impossible. At this point in time I would have ran out of patience with you whiners, but somehow he stays polite.
C ya teusday. Looking forward to playing.

| There would be more people complaining if we played out make up games on Wed. I guess they would be wrong too. Just because some voices there opinion or asks a question does not mean that person is complaining.

| To the person who put the last post. I agree. I have no problem with people voicing their concerns/opinions on here. Jimmy Long asked a legit question with a legit reason. There's a reason why I made the website so that people can put a post up without having to put their name on it. Some people feel more comfortable speaking their mind without putting their name, and that's fine. As long as they don't become attackful without reason. I think so far there's only been one time where someone has gotten to the point to where I was tired of it and responded to them directly, using their name which they hadn't put. Then I removed some of the "quiet observer" stuff because there was no point in it.
I'll for the most part let the board have whatever on it as long as it's not too offensive or mean/attackful.
I want everyone to voice their opinions. I just ask that people remember that the guys who put time and effort into the league get nothing out of it and everything that is done, is done with the hopes of the league running well or better.
Like someone already said, it's just softball. And with my baby coming in a week or two, I will be putting substantially less time into the league. So I ask people to please just keep that all in mind and we're doing the best we can for volunteering our time.
